Wild Alaskan Black Cod offers a buttery, melt-in-your-mouth texture thanks to its naturally high oil content. Trimmed cleanly and frozen fresh, it delivers exceptional richness for sashimi, nigiri, lightly torched aburi, or crudo. A luxurious sushi-grade option with incredible depth.
Well-suited for raw preparations like sushi, sashimi, or lightly seared (aburi-style) dishes when handled and thawed properly.
Not sure what “sushi-grade” really means or what’s safe to eat raw? You can learn more in our simple guide to sushi-grade seafood.
Velvety, buttery texture with rich, silky flavor.
Available in 1 lb, 2 lb, 3 lb, 4 lb, or 5 lb quantities. (Each piece is approximately 0.25–0.50 lb.)
Serving Tip
Torch lightly for aburi-style nigiri or serve as rich sashimi to highlight its buttery texture.
