At Kodiak Island Smokehouse, we specialize in custom wild game processing that goes beyond the basics. Every order is handled separately and with care, so the animal you bring in is always the one you take home. From classic bratwurst and hunter sticks to bold jerky and smoked specialties, your harvest is transformed into small-batch products tailored to your taste.

All of our brines, marinades, and seasoning blends are crafted in-house, using original recipes developed right here in Kodiak. With vacuum-sealed packaging, low minimums, and expert attention at every step, we make it simple to turn your game into something worth savoring — whether you’re stocking the freezer, sharing with family, or gifting to friends.

Availability Note: Smoked and specialty cooked items are offered seasonally (Aug 1 – Dec 31).
Raw wild game products are available all year.

ADDITIONAL POLICIES AND FEES

  • GROUP SPLIT

    $25/per person 

    If an order is being split, this fee is applied to each split.

  • RUSH FEE

    A rush fee of $.75/LB will be added to any order that needs to be completed in 4 days or less (subject to availability).

  • GAME COOLER AND FREEZER STORAGE

    $0.15/lb per day (subject to availability) 

  • SEASONAL PROCESSING FEE

    A $30 fee will be added to any game order brought in for processing between March 1 – July 31.

  • AFTER HOURS PICK-UP FEE

    A $30 fee will be added to any order that needs to be picked up before/after hours.  Arrangements must be made in advance.

  • AIR CARGO DROP OFF FEE

    $30 plus $10 per box.  Arrangements must be made in advance.

  • SHIPPING

    Shipping services are available upon request through UPS, FedEx, and Alaska Air Cargo. Insulated boxes are available for purchase, or you can pack and ship yourself.

  • GAME PROCESSING STORAGE

    1 week of freezer storage is included in the price of your order.  Anything left in our freezer past 1 week will be assessed a storage fee of $.15/LB per day for up to an additional 3 weeks.  At that time, if the order has not been picked up and no other arrangements have been made, the order will be considered abandoned.

  • ABANDONED ORDERS

    Orders that are left at our facility for longer than 30 days will be considered abandoned and will be disposed of.
