Coldwater Crust is our signature Kodiak Island Smokehouse seasoning blend and our go-to choice for salmon. Made to bring a savory, bright, herb-forward finish to wild Alaskan seafood, it combines salt, garden vegetables, celery, parsley, dill, lemon zest, garlic, and warm spices into a blend that feels right at home beside fish from cold Alaska waters.
While it's excellent on halibut, cod, rockfish, vegetables, and even dishes like Halibut Olympia, Coldwater Crust truly shines on salmon. Use it as a generous coating before cooking to build a flavorful crust, or sprinkle it over finished dishes as a finishing seasoning.
