Yes. We process each customer's game separately, and you get back the game that you brought in. We keep each customer's meat separate from other customers', including the grind. Interested in how we keep everyone's orders organized? In our lobby, we have a live video feed of our processing rooms, and you can watch the processing that is currently going on in real time!
You do not need to make a reservation in advance for your game processing. However, if you are bringing in multiple large animals (buffalo, elk, moose, etc) or you're bringing in more than 10 smaller animals, it is helpful if you call us to let us know when you may be coming in so we can be prepared with appropriate racks or cooler space. You may also choose to fill out paperwork or shipping forms in advance so your check-in process is smooth and efficient. Many people also find it helpful to get an idea of the types of products and processing you'd like to have done before you head out on a hunt. Feel free to browse our website or give us a call if you have any questions about any of our products.
Your animal must be skinned before bringing it to us for processing. We do not offer any kind of skinning services, and we are not a disposal site for animal waste.
Keep your animal/meat as clean as possible. Hair, sand, and dirt are impossible to fully remove from meat that will be ground ,and you will have a far superior end product if your animal/meat is clean before you bring it to us for processing. You may also be assessed a cleaning fee if your animal/meat is brought in dirty.
We will not accept meat for processing that is excessively dirty and/or contains larvae and/or has started to spoil or rot.
We can never guarantee that we will have the time or space to allow your animal to age/hang for a certain amount of time, but we will try to accommodate your request if you have a preference. Let us know at the time of drop-off, and we'll let you know at that time if we can accommodate your request.
You may choose to age/hang your meat before bringing it to us, but you should never age/hang it to the point that it needs to be processed immediately, as we may not be able to start processing it right away.
We can provide after hours pick-ups, but arrangements must be made in advance. You can make arrangements either in person, or you can give us a call.
We accept game drop-offs after hours. We have insulated totes that you can drop your game in and cards to leave your contact information and any instructions you may have. The bins are checked regularly, but we cannot be held liable for game that gets damaged or stolen (by human or bear), and all after-hours drop offs are left at your discretion.
We will do basic boneless processing of an animal year round. This includes roasts, steaks, stew, grind, and sausage (not smoked).
We only offer bone-in options from August 1 - December 31
We only offer custom processing (summer sausage, jerky, hunter sticks, smoked roasts, smoked sausages, etc) from August 1 - December 31
All of our smoked products are fully cooked and ready to eat. You may choose to eat them cold, or you can warm them up and add them to a meal (such as a soup, rice, or pasta).
