ORDERING AND PAYMENT
You can place an on-line order at any time during our months of operation (see below). We are also available to answer your questions and assist you with orders during our regular business hours. We accept all major credit cards for payment. If you have any problems using your credit card to complete an order, please call us at (907) 486-6455, and we'll be happy to assist you. Payment for services and products is expected at the time of service.

Please note: A variety of our products are priced by the pound. All of these priced-by-the-pound items vary in weight, just like different steaks, meats and cheeses do when you buy them at the grocery store. We do provide estimated weight ranges, but these can vary at times. We do our best to provide items within the weight range.
We reserve the right to refuse to serve any customer for any reason.
We regularly update our website so it shows the current availability of items. However, as we also service wholesale customers who can make large purchases, we may run out of stock of an item. In the event your order contains an item that is not available, we will call or e-mail you to discuss.
Our products are subject to availability due to weather and seasonal variations. We reserve the right to make pricing changes to reflect changes in market supply.
ORDER CANCELLATION / MODIFICATION
We will honor all order cancellation and modification requests as much as possible. However, if your order has already been packed, we may not be able to cancel or modify it.
We do not accept returns of any of our food products. We just aren't comfortable reselling a food item that hasn't always been in our control, and we hope you'll feel reassured knowing that you're only ever going to receive products that have always been within our control.
All orders that include perishable items require next-day air shipping. We strongly encourage you or someone else to be available at the delivery address to receive, freeze and/or refrigerate your perishable items upon receipt.
To help make sure that you receive your frozen products in optimal condition, we carefully pack them in insulated Styrofoam boxes. This packaging is designed to maintain maximum temperature control of the contents while in transit.
We ship packages by FedEx and UPS to destinations within the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii. Perishable packages are shipped on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays only. Non-perishable items are shipped by two-day air services. Because we are located on an island, ground services are not available.
* Neither FedEx nor UPS deliver to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
* If you are shipping to a gated home, you must make sure that someone is available to open the gate when the shipping carrier arrives, as packages will not be left at the front of the gate.
We take all measures possible to make sure hat your order is received intact and in proper condition. However, the route to your destination is in the hands of the shipping services and is outside of our control. Inclement weather and other unforeseen events can occur that impact the timely delivery of a shipment.
Please inspect arrived packages and products as soon as they arrive to your door! If your package has arrived damaged or tampered with, please contact us immediately at at (907) 486-645. Depending on the issue, we may be able to file a claim with the shipper.
Please be advised that Kodiak Island Smokehouse is not responsible for lost or delayed shipments, and we do not refund shipping costs or refund or replace products that are lost or damaged due to shipping delays.
