The Kodiak Island Smokehouse

Kodiak Island Smokehouse opened its doors in 1984 in Bells Flats and became the first family owned, smokehouse in the town side of Kodiak Island to sell commercially. In July 2001, it was relocated and reopened in our present location, 1011 Mill Bay Rd conveniently within Kodiak City limits. In Sept 2016 the Kodiak Island Smokehouse was sold for the first time. We are still family owned and operated and are committed to keeping the quality product we fell in love with when we decided to purchase the Smokehouse.  With our committment to natural processing we will expand the Smokhouse by adding new products and features, beginning this spring watch for our first newest product! 
 
At Kodiak Island Smokehouse, we provide custom smoking, where we keep it natural with no preservatives, artificial flavoring, or MSG. While utilizing our slow smoking methods, we use the freshest and purest ingredients on our freshly caught Wild Alaskan salmon to ensure the best possible flavor.
 
Our custom smoking service includes cleaning, filleting, brining, smoking, vacuum sealing, and freezing! We also provide just vacuum packing and sealing raw fish or simply just skinning fish! Leaving town shortly dropping off your fish? We offer a size variety of insulated fish boxes that will fit your needs and ship out your boxed fish to you via FedEx anywhere in the U.S!
